No Mess, No Problem biological product to restore and maintain natural activity in septic tanks.

Each BIOGEST sachet contains a measured dose. To apply, simply drop the whole sachet into the toilet and flush, or put directly into the septic tank. For a normal household tank up to 2500 litres a typical dose is one 25g sachet per month.

If the tank is larger, household numbers are high or chemical cleaners are used frequently increase the does to once every two weeks. To restore the biological balance to a tank which is performing badly dosing daily for four days is usually effective.   For best results, apply BIOGEST at night using the toilet nearest the septic tank and leave in the bowl for 30 minutes before flushing.

How your septic tanks works:
Your septic tank acts as a collection point for your household sewage. It provides a holding area to allow the waste to settle and for micro-organisms to break down, liquefy and deodorize the organic matter.

The process is entirely biological and needs the presence of a healthy colony of bacteria and fungi to operate successfully.

Why Problems arise:
Modern cleaning agents such as disinfectants, bleaches and detergents are designed to kill bacteria.  Regular use of these chemicals can upset the biological balance within the septic tank by killing off the micro-organisms which do the work. Extremes of temperature can also have a similar effect.

What happens when your septic tanks stops working effectively?:
